The esteemed doctor completed his MBBS from VSS Medical College, Sambalpur University, Orissa. He did his internship at SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Orissa. Then, he went on to do an MD (Internal Medicine) from MKCG medical college Berhampur University, Orissa. The renowned oncologist then did a DM (Medical Oncology) from IRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi.
